The Odessa Tri-Service Lions Club was chartered on April 30, 1956, with twenty members. Since its inception, the Tri-Service organization has in turn sponsored two other Lions Clubs in the Odessa, Texas area. It has been and remains active in providing eyeglasses, hearing aids and other services to the community as it pledged to do. It is part of District 2-T3 of the International Association of Lions Clubs. |

News & Notes
Lion Roger attended the Texas Lion Leadership Forum in Austin on March 3rd and 4th. Some of the classes he attended were on mentoring, future vice governor, showing appreciation and role of zone chairperson. There were several excellent speakers and time to gather in small groups and share ideals for gaining new members and how to retain them.
During the regular meeting on March 5th Lion Janet submitted her resignation as Secretary/Treasurer. Lion Roger was appointed to complete the year in that office. Also two new members were approve. They will be inducted at the next regular meeting on March 19th. |
